JOB PURPOSE:
The Senior Accountant is responsible for complex, financial accounting functions in compliance with applicable policies, contract requirements, regulations, and laws. This position is responsible for accounting procedures, and interprets principles, theories, and concepts in the financial area with a working knowledge of related functional areas, using concepts and policies to solve a wide range of difficult problems in imaginative and practical ways. The Senior Accountant supports the International and U.S. entities.

DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Responsible for the oversight, execution and monitoring of financial transactions, processes, and systems
- Provide financial statement reporting and analysis, including various general ledger account reconciliations, non-standard and/or ad hoc, for both internal and external audiences
- Research, analyze, and correct irregularities and reconciling items in system output results and/or reconciliations
- Responsible for monthly and year-end close related activities
- Maintain all records, backup documentation, and customer files
- Utilize financial systems to obtain and analyze complex financial information
- Maintain and track all capital acquisitions and depreciation accounts
- Develop and implement solutions to complex accounting problems by in-depth evaluation and analysis
- Provide technical input in the formulation and execution of financial objectives
- Develop, evaluate, and implement work methods and transaction documentation for efficiencies, making recommendations for improvements
- Participate in end user acceptance testing of new system functionality prior to implementation
- Reconcile credit card transactions and credit card deposits weekly
- Provides information on monthly/quarterly sales tax return and file with Avalara software
- Prepare monthly Balance Sheet Accounts Reconciliations
- Analyze revenues, commissions, and expenses to ensure proper recording monthly
- Assist in preparing tax returns, corporate reporting requirements, audits
- Responsible for P-card system, including ordering and maintaining credit cards
- Assist in budgeting of IT expenses, including monthly BVA reports
- Support Global and Local Finance project implementations.
- Support data quality and revenue reconciliation implementation.

QUALIFICATIONS:
- 3-5+ years of corporate accounting experience
- Working Knowledge of IFRS/GAAP and experience in interpreting accounting policies and procedures
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, or related field and a minimum of 4 years of related professional-level experience or the equivalent combination of education and experience.
- CPA eligibility (preferred)
- NetSuite Experience (preferred)
- Salesforce Experience (preferred)
- Proficiency with email and Microsoft Office application; especially Excel.
